Abstract
Abstract
SQL Server must log all data and schema changes synchronously in the transaction log to ensure durability, which has a strong performance impact on the system.
This session (level 300) I will show how to improve the write performance of the transaction log by using minimally logged operations and delayed durability.
I will also highlight the limitations and disadvantages of delayed durability and minimally logged operations.
