Abstract

In this session(Level 300-400), we will briefly review the basic considerations for waiting statistics in SQL Server.
We will use these insights to analyze performance issues using real life examples and find ways to solve them.
We will also focus on the much-discussed CXPacket wait type and its dependency on Cost Threshold For Parallelism, Maximum Degree of Parallelism, and Threadpool Starvation.
